Tenacious D Outrageous Birthday Wish Cancels Band

Jack Black’s Tenacious D group may have just come to an end.

Tenacious D was a satire band that blew up, but a stupid comment by Black’s partner, Kyle Gass, appears to have ended the partnership.

The group was performing in Australia when Gass got the brilliant idea of making a birthday wish to not miss Trump the next time an assassination attempt was made.

These People are Sick

As much as I despise people like Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, I would never wish that someone take them out with a bullet to the head.

That, however, is exactly what Gass’ birthday wish was.

I am not sure what was worse… his wish or the fact that so many people in the audience cheered for him after he said it.

Here is how this all went down…

Black was one of the headliners during the big Biden fundraiser in Hollywood that was sponsored by George Clooney and Julia Roberts, but even he did not go for that.

On Tuesday, Black announced, “I was blindsided by what was at the show Sunday.

“I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.

“After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.”

While I give Black props for doing the right thing here, he is far from innocent in all of this.

When Black gave his speech during the fundraiser, he too claimed democracy was at stake during this election, a very tired talking point of the left.

There is a saying that if you kick even the most loyal dog often enough, sooner or later, that dog will bite your foot.

Well, for Dems, the equivalent of this is that if you cry wolf enough in regard to Donald Trump being a threat, sooner or later, some whacko will take it to heart and try to be a hero by taking out Trump.

That is what happened here, at least in my opinion.
