Obama Remains Silent After Reports He Backed Clooney’s Op-ed

Is Barack Obama the man behind the curtain in terms of leading the push to have Joe removed from office?

This narrative got started on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and everyone has been running with it since.

After Democrat insiders confirmed that Obama did not try to stop Clooney from publishing the demand to have Joe step down, reporters have been trying to get Obama to speak, but he has pretty much had a media blackout.

Not Saying a Word

The piece by Clooney was devastating, confirming that the Hollywood elites who have far too much influence for my liking, had abandoned Biden.

Clooney tried to do this as delicately as possible, but the op-ed was a devastating blow for Biden and it dominated the news cycle.

On Thursday, the media started to run with the narrative that it was Obama who was behind it, noting how close Obama and Clooney have become since Obama’s presidency.

Obama’s office has been very quiet about all of this, only referring the media to Obama’s past statements of support for Joe Biden.

Former adviser Jon Favreau threw a little fire on this narrative, stating, "It was not surprising to any of us who were at the fundraiser. I was there.

“Clooney was exactly right, and every single person I talked to at the fundraiser thought the same thing, except for the people working for Joe Biden, or at least they didn't say that.”

To be honest, I am not surprised at all that Obama is working behind the scenes because I have always believed that Obama never really liked Joe Biden.

He had made some rather critical comments about him in the past, and it was widely believed that when Obama added him to the ticket, he did so begrudgingly to satisfy the party elites and to help draw in older, white voters.

I honestly don’t think Obama wanted Biden to run in 2020, so resistance in 2024 is not exactly shocking.

Rest assured, however, if it's ever confirmed that Obama is behind this, that fracture will never be repaired between Obama and Biden.
