‘Alf’ Actor Reportedly Found Dead

One of the more unsuspecting hit shows of the 1980s was “Alf.”

Sadly, one of the child stars from that show is reportedly dead.

According to recent reports, Benji Gregory was found dead inside his car in Peoria, AZ, in June.

Those close to Gregory stated that the actor had taken a drive to the bank to deposit his residual checks on June 12.

They believe that he may have fallen asleep in his car and suffered vehicular heatstroke due to the extreme heat in Arizona.

Gregory also had a service dog with him, which had also died in the car with Gregory, which is just heartbreaking.

Gregory first started acting in 1984, getting a small role on “The A-Team,” then landed several other TV show rules, including two appearances on “Punky Brewster.”

Then, in 1986, he handed the role of Brian Tanner in “Alf,” a surprise hit show that would continue to run through 2004.

During that run, he appeared in a handful of TV shows and TV movies and at least one big-screen role.

When “Alf” finished up, so did his acting career.

After leaving the entertainment business, Gregory enlisted in the Navy but was honorably medically discharged in 2005, hence the need for the service dog.

His sister, Rebecca, has asked for privacy to allow the family to grieve after this shocking death.
