Fighter who shadowboxed for Donald, Barron Trump banned from sport for racist rant

Ryan Garcia is a famous fighter who once demonstrated speed boxing for former president Donald Trump and Trump’s son, Barron.

Now, though, Garcia has made headlines for another reason -- he has been banned from the World Boxing Council (WBC) after releasing racist comments on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Garcia took to X to write in a post that he is “anti-black” and is “the KKK.”

The fighter also wrote disturbing statements about the late George Floyd.

As if that was not bad enough, he attempted to drag Donald Trump into his insane X rant.

When the WBC decided to challenge a recent result of a fight due to Garcia testing positive for a type of steroid, Garcia absolutely lost it.

He said this challenge stemmed from his affiliation with the Trumps.

“Hmm I’m seen with trump… And now I’m positive for steroids… This is a straight attack… Crazy,” Garcia wrote on X.

It was not long after that the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, expelled him from the organization.

“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. We reject any form of discrimination,” Sulaiman said in the recent post on X.

However, his attorney, Darin Chavez, released a recent statement saying that the real culprit behind Garcia’s actions was his mental health.

“Ryan has been open about his struggles with mental health over the years, and at this time he is dealing with an immense emotional burden. The support and understanding from fans and the public are crucial as he navigates these personal challenges,” said Chavez.

What do you think of Garcia’s actions?
