Judge delays deadlines in Trump Classified Documents Case

Delay, postpone, pause, freeze...

Whatever term you like to use, they're all music to Donald Trump's ears.

A federal judge ruled on July 6 to postpone some deadlines "in former President Donald J. Trump’s classified documents case to allow prosecutors time to respond to his request for a broader pause in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling this week on executive immunity."

The New York Times is admitting that the postponement is likely to cause at least minor delays to the case, which they say "has already slowed to a crawl with Judge Aileen Cannon’s previous decisions."

This is great news for Republicans across America. Remember, Donald Trump probably doesn't actually have to beat the cases against him. He probably only needs to beat Joe Biden at the ballot box in November to make these problems go away.

Any delay or pause in Trump's case is a win for Donald.

The longer he can wait before his cases in Georgia and Florida really get rolling, the closer Donald Trump will be to winning the 2024 presidential election.

Perhaps that's why Donald Trump's main strategy has been to slow down the trials against him as much as possible.

If Trump is able to keep his political momentum going and Democrats do not switch candidates, many believe it's almost a given at this point that he will once again be America's president.

When that happens, there's a very good chance that President Donald J. Trump could make civilian Trump's problems go away.

Trump has also received a blessing by getting Judge Aileen Cannon on the case, somebody that he himself appointed to the federal bench.

Cannon has refused to act like Judge Arthur Engoron and Judge Juan Merchan in New York, and she's calling the case right down the middle as a result.

This is a HUGE blow to Democrats, who are used to the New York judges siding with them no matter what.

Donald Trump isn't out of the woods yet, but even small victories count as victories.

Do you think Trump will win the presidency in November?
