Judge Cannon Obliterates Jack Smith Prosecutor

I think we all knew that once the attorneys actually got into the courtroom for arguments in the Trump classified documents case, things were going to get ugly.

Judge Cannon, who was appointed by Trump, has been under fire from the start of this case.

So, it was not surprising to see Smith’s prosecutors get a little snippy with her, but Cannon was having none of it.

Currently, they are having arguments to see if the gag order against Trump will be enhanced to cover Trump making derogatory statements about the FBI.

Cannon had the audacity to ask prosecutors to show her proof that Trump’s previous statements had put FBI agents at risk.

Prosecutor David Harbach got a little testy with Cannon, but she was not having it, and dressed him down in the courtroom.

Cannon told him, “I don’t appreciate your tone.”

She then told him, “If you aren’t able to do that, I’m sure one of your colleagues can take up arguing this motion.”

Harbach was like a child who just had his lollipop taken from him, but he eventually apologized, telling Cannon, “I didn’t mean to be unprofessional. I’m sorry about that.”

Cannon has now given prosecutors until Wednesday to provide the requested proof, which more than likely means she plans to issue a ruling before the Thursday debate so Trump knows what he can and cannot say.

I still believe the criticisms against Cannon are over the top and she is being overly scrutinized because Donald Trump appointed her.

If this trial would not be so detrimental to Trump, I would actually love to see this in court to see the fireworks go off because you know this will be a street fight.

However, due to the rulings that are still pending, I just don’t see any way for this case to get into the courtroom before election day.
