Snopes Finally Admits Charlottesville Narrative a Hoax
One of the more left-leaning fact-checking organizations has just handed Trump a huge win, just days before the first presidential debate.
Snopes recently published a post to fact-check Joe Biden claiming that the reason he ran for president was Donald Trump calling neo-Nazis “very fine people.”
The publication rated Biden’s claim as “false.”

This is a big deal, and I cannot stress that enough regarding Donald Trump and this debate.
At some point, the racism narrative will pop up, and Biden will lean on his little speech about why he ran for president.
I am sure most of you remember the gist of what Trump said, but it is really important to see the full context of his comments.
At the time, Trump stated, "You also had some very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.
“You had people -- and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists; they should be condemned totally -- you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists."
PolitiFact actually ran a fact check on this in 2019, but it was tainted.
Its ruling was that the comments needed to be taken into context, not that the attacks against Trump were false.
Snopes just cleared that up, writing, “While Trump did say that there were ‘very fine people on both sides,’ he also specifically noted that he was not talking about neo-Nazis and white supremacists and said they should be ‘condemned totally.’ Therefore, we have rated this claim ‘False.'”
That fact check will surely be used by Trump to counter any arguments made by Biden on this front.
Best of all, the way for Trump to beat Biden is to get him upset and angry, which burns energy.
Not only that, Biden hates to be called a liar and he surely will push back if there is proof that he is lying.
If Trump can get Biden to lose his cool and actually sound like Trump when he goes off on fake news, this debate will be over and Trump will have just derailed the Biden train and any momentum it has gained in polling after the guilty verdict came out.
Trump needs to do this early, however, to have Biden struggling as early as possible so he can just crush him once it comes time to give his closing statement.
