Alvin Bragg Drops Charges in Nearly All Columbia University Cases

Remember all those college campus protests against Israel?

One of the worst in the country was at Columbia University, where non-students were trespassing and destroying property.

Yet, for some reason, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is dropping all charges in virtually every case that came into his office.

Of the 46 cases that were brought to Bragg’s office, 31 of them have been dropped.

Bragg’s office stated that it lacked enough evidence to pursue charges in the case.

So, these people will walk without so much as a fine or a slap on the wrist for taking over the campus, blocking students from classes, and destroying property.

Needless to say, Jewish and pro-police groups are livid over the decision by Bragg’s office.

Michael Nussbaum, a 25-year member of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, hit the nail on the head, stating, “This is turnstile justice.

“This a green light for chaos, a green light for destroying property.”

Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Stephen Millan tried to justify it, reasoning, “It would be extremely difficult for the people to prove any charge of misconduct.”

You mean, other than the news footage, surveillance videos, and pictures of the campus in total chaos?

How about trespassing? Hit them with something!

Police were fuming, countering, “Lack of evidence? Apparently, body-worn camera wasn’t enough?”

Another officer added, “We have a DA giving them what amounts to a mandate to push the envelope further now.”

This is a complete and utter joke. I am telling you, Democrats want chaos, and they are going to get it.
