Nathan Wade Interview Goes Off the Rails
Former prosecutor Nathan Wade is surely getting a prolonged 15 minutes of fame over his affair with Fulton County DA Fani Willis.
Wade has become a cult hero of sorts on the left after having resigned his position per an order from Judge McAfee in the George RICO election fraud case.
Wade recently did an interview for “The Daily Show,” and let’s just say this interview went off the rails rather quickly.
You Know…
Earlier this week, Wade appeared on “The Daily Show's” segment of Choppin' It Up With 'Quon.
Quon, if you recall, is a character created by Marlon Wayans, and in this segment, he goes into that character.
He was asking Wade how things happened, and Wade said that Willis was a "brilliant legal mind," adding that the pair "spent countless hours preparing this case, investigating this case."
Quon then interjects, adding, "I see how it happened, countless hours, and I need a foot rub, you know what I mean, and she rub your foot. And I'm like, 'Hey let me give you a massage,' and all of a sudden, boom boom, we up on this desk. Man.”
From there, the bogus interview only got worse, and as much as I dislike Willis, I have to imagine she was horrified by Wade agreeing not only to do this interview but also to post the segment on this social media account.
While some thought the interview was funny, there were more who were rightfully upset about the interview.
Anthony Michael Kreis, a constitutional law professor at Georgia State University College of Law, hit the nail on the head.
He posted, "This is gross. Nathan Wade should be embarrassed. And Fani Willis, whatever her mistakes, deserves better than this. As do the people of Fulton County.”
It just goes to prove my point from the outset that this is all nothing more than political theater.
To quote Kreis, it’s just gross.
