'Unwell, unhinged and unfit' Nancy Pelosi daughter responds to Trump's claims he would have been a 'great' match if she were younger
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke up to defend her mother following an assertion about the former speaker by former President Donald Trump.
Pelosi's daughter denied the account of a conversation the former president asserts he had with her where she allegedly said that he and her mother would have been "great" together in another life, as The Daily Mail reported.
"Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there’s an age difference though," the former president said in a meeting with House Republicans on Thursday, according to Punchbowl's retelling.
Several individuals verified to DailyMail.com that Trump recounted the incident where her daughter expressed that Pelosi and Trump would make a " wonderful" pair.
The Reports
"Speaking for all 4 Pelosi daughters — this is a LIE. His deceitful, deranged obsession with our mother is yet another reason Donald Trump is unwell, unhinged, and unfit to step foot anywhere near her — or the White House," Christine Pelosi shot back to the comments on Twitter.
"Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there’s an age difference though," the former president said in a meeting with House Republicans on Thursday
On the aftermath of his conviction on 34 charges of falsifying company documents related to Stormy Daniels payments, President Trump paid a visit to Capitol Hill.
The former president is again squaring up against current President Biden in a race for the oval office, and has asserted that his campaign is being hampered by the official channels connected to the White House.
Trump's Comments
He addressed Republicans in the House of Representatives at the Capitol Hill Club, a regular hangout for Republicans, and he will address Republicans in the Senate in the afternoon.
During the conference, the former president gave a speech in which he discussed his aversion to providing aid to Ukraine, reminded Republicans that they need to improve their messaging regarding abortion, and expressed his fondness for tariffs.
In an attempt to make light of the conflict that has been going on between Speaker Mike Johnson and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, he asked the Georgia Republican if she was "being nice" to Mayor Johnson.
As the meeting began, the Republican conference began by wishing President Trump a happy birthday. On Friday, he will be 78 years old.
