Police say Fetterman was driving at 'high rate of speed' when he rear-ended car

John Fetterman and his wife were involved in a scary incident over the weekend.

The couple were involved in a car crash.

Initially, most of the concern was whether everyone was alright. Now that we know everyone made it out relatively unharmed, America is asking a different question:

What's going to happen to John Fetterman?

Senator Fetterman, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, was determined to be at fault for the car crash that to him and his wife and the driver of another vehicle being admitted to the hospital.

John Fetterman was taken to a hospital in West Virginia via ambulance. Luckily, he appears to be okay.

Fetterman himself posted an update on social media:

No citations were issued at the time of the accident, but police confirmed that the investigation was still ongoing.

They must have uncovered a little bit of evidence since then because they've officially come out and blamed the crash on Senator John Fetterman.

Before rear-ending the vehicle in front of him on a Maryland highway on Sunday morning, police reported that Fetterman was traveling "at a high rate of speed, well over the posted speed limit," which was 70 mph in the area.

Neither Fetterman nor the other driver were tested for alcohol or substance use. This isn't the first scare Fetterman has had since entering national politics.

During his campaign for Senate, Fetterman suffered a stroke.

Additionally, after winning his election, he checked himself into an inpatient program in order to address his struggle with clinical depression.

Prayers go out to everyone involved. No matter who was at fault, we're happy everyone is safe.
