It was only two days ago that we reported about the dire situation in Austin, TX.
Democrats stripped about $100 million from the budget.
The system has been tapped and is now stretched to the max.
To that point, a recent call to 9-1-1 did not go as planned, and now a lot of questions are being asked.
Please Hold
Imagine calling emergency services because your husband is having a heart attack... and the phone rings for 15 minutes.
The national average for 9-1-1 calls being answered in 15 seconds or less is 90 percent.
In Austin, that percentage is 64 percent.
In this case, the woman was on hold for 15 minutes before her call was addressed.
Tanya Gotcher stated, "The phone just ringing and ringing and ringing."
She also had her father call, hoping that someone could get through.
She explained, "It took him 10 minutes, and then the 911 company realized he was in a different county, so they transferred him, and it took another three minutes.
"Mine was a minimum of 15 if not 20 minutes."
This is all because Democrats cut the budget... this blood, every ounce of it, is on their hands.
