7 Republicans Who Ousted McCarthy Offering Themselves As Sacrifices To Install Jim Jordan

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan's allies are getting increasingly desperate to make him America's next speaker of the House of Representatives.

They're willing to do whatever it takes.

Including offering themselves up as "sacrifices," according to Yahoo.

Jordan has continued to shed support in his quest to become speaker, so no matter which way you slice it, the guy is facing an uphill battle.

Still, a fair number of Republicans in Congress believe in Jordan, and they're willing to do what it takes to help achieve their version of justice.

Seven of the Republicans who voted to oust Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) from the speakership and are now in support of Jordan have written a letter saying that they're "willing to face censure, suspension, or removal from the conference — if that's what it takes."

"We understand that some in the Conference wish to punish us," the lawmakers wrote.

Interestingly, one of the names included in the letter is Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado.

Ken Buck insists that his inclusion in the letter was a mistake.

Buck has said that he is not going to support Jordan until the Ohio lawmaker is able to clearly tell America "that the 2020 election was not stolen."

But the rest of the lawmakers listed on the letter seem to be serious about their position:

What do you think about Jordan's chances?

Could he actually make it somehow, or do Republicans need to come up with a new plan?
