The Central Visual & Performing Arts High turned into a slaughterhouse around 9 a.m. Monday morning.
Orlando Harris, 19, entered the school and started to yell, “You’re all going to f—ing die!”
Then he opened fire.
The Carnage
Student Keyshawn Brooks described the scene inside the school.
He stated, “He shot the teacher first.
“She fell to the floor.
“Another boy got shot in the hand and he was bleeding.
“Two other girls got shot.
“When he left the room, we opened the window and we jumped out.”
When the dust settled, the teacher and one student were killed.
Officials stated that the teacher, Jean Kuczka, 61, jumped in front of her students to shield them when the gunman opened fire.
Seven other students were injured.
It took officers only minutes to answer the call, and they immediately entered the building and took out the shooter.
