I have used this phrase far too often lately, but here we go again.
Tajh Boyd, a 19-year-old football player at Liberty University, has died, reported ESPN.
The school announced his death on Sunday, but no cause of death was revealed as of yet.
Gone Too Soon
If this was a suicide, I think there would have been a hint or speak of mental health, but that was not the case, so I am going to approach this story much as I have the other shocking deaths of young athletes in this country and around the world.
Liberty, in announcing Boyd’s death, stated, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the loss of one of our student-athletes, Tajh Boyd.
“We thank God for bringing Tajh into our Liberty Athletics community and we will always remember him as a Flame. Tajh will be missed dearly.”
His former high school coach, Chris Scott, stated, “Tajh’s impact went far beyond statistics and accolades.
“Yes, he was a formidable force on the football field, but it was his infectious smile, his positive energy, and his ability to uplift others that truly made him larger than life,” reported Breitbart.
Thoughts and prayers from family, friends, and fellow football players poured in all day for Boyd.
This is just horrible for his family but is also very disturbing for our country.
Assuming this was not a death by suicide, the death should be very alarming for everyone who has a child that took the vaccine and booster shots during the pandemic.
I say this because we are seeing reports of young athletes dying on a fairly regular basis, far more often than I can ever remember seeing.
In a typical year, we might hear one or two stories of an athlete dying during summer drills from dehydration, but these reports have been coming in for months, and they are impacting athletes under the age of 30 at an alarming rate.
Is this a side effect of the vaccine? I have no idea, but it sure would be nice if it was investigated to find out one way or another.
We need to find out why these athletes are dying, only the powers that be just don’t seem to care.
