Chicago Sees 15 Shootings in 24 Hours of Labor Day Weekend

Another weekend, another bloodbath in the city of Chicago.

There is a new mayor in charge, but the changes he promised have yet to take place.

That is pretty evident when 15 bodies hit the ground in one night, with four of them winding up in the morgue.

The More Things Change…

I follow social media on this front faithfully and the number of complaints you see from residents is staggering.

Yet, they continue to put these radicals in charge of their city.

I tagged Brandon Johnson as the one candidate who was more extreme than Lori Lightfoot when the final field was announced, yet this was the man who made it to the runoff election and won.

Johnson has openly discussed defunding the police, hoping to reallocate that money to other departments to invest in the community.

Well, I would say that approach is failing when you send two 20-year-olds, a 30-year-old, and a 53-year-old woman to the morgue in the space of a few hours.

You simply cannot pull police officers from the neighborhoods that need it the most or you give you thugs free reign to terrorize these neighborhoods.

Through September 2, 403 people have been killed in Chicago, so the total will once again be well over 500 by the time the year has concluded. If these thugs were better shots, that total would be significantly higher.

Yet, Democrats do not talk about these cities, but let a police officer shoot someone that was committing a crime and Democrats are all on their soapboxes.

Chicago has what amounts to be a mass shooting every single weekend, and nobody in the Democrat Party seems to care, not even Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, whom you never hear about on these Democrat-run cities where death in high numbers over the weekend is the new reality.
