REPORT: James Biden Business Ties to Qatari Government

There is yet another allegation against the Biden family for using its influence to lock down business deals.

The latest comes via a Politico report about the business ties of James Biden and the Qatar government.

According to the report, this is among the closest ties we have seen yet between the Biden family and a foreign government.

Blatantly Selling Influence

If you are familiar with the business ventures of James Biden, you know he was deeply involved in an effort to enter the healthcare industry.

Biden’s Americore business dealings were tied to Michael Prewitt, who had business interests in Platinum Group USA and Obermeyer Engineering Consulting, both of which had deep ties to the Qatari government.

James Biden had hooked up with Platinum Group’s CEO Amer Rustom.

They wrote a joint letter to discuss the ventures with the Qatar Investment Authority, which stated, “My family could provide a wealth of introductions and business opportunities at the highest levels that I believe would be worthy of the interest of His Excellency.

“On behalf of the Biden family, I welcome your interest here.”

That letter really did not hide any intent. It obviously touted Joe Biden's influence and was more than willing to play off it.

Fund manager Michael Lewitt, another former business associate of James Biden, confirmed the ties here through sworn testimony.

Judge Gregory Schaaf had considered a criminal referral against Lewitt but eventually decided against it. However, he did note that the arrangement raised some serious questions.

In the case, Judge Schaaf stated, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and this is a black haze right now.”

Lewitt, at some point, is expected to testify before the House impeachment investigation into Joe Biden.

But again, there still remains the question if the House can even impeach Biden over events that took place while vice president and/or a private citizen.

From the opinions I have seen, that will be a tough sell, not to mention that Democrats hold the Senate, and we have already seen how they simply dismissed the charges filed against Mayorkas, so there is no reason to believe they would not treat an impeachment of Biden in the same manner.
