Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel's home burglarized twice in 4 months

Goldie Hawn recently shared the terrifying experiences that her and her long-term boyfriend Kurt Russell have been going through recently:

Her home has been burglarized TWICE in the last four months.

Hawn was making an appearance on the SirusXMpodcast "Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa."

"What if we couldn’t live in L.A, where would we live? We both decided, I think it’s Palm Desert (California). … It’s so safe," Hawn said about herself and Kurt Russell, her boyfriend of four decades.

"It’s just because L.A. is terrible. I mean, we were robbed once."

Hawn then went on to describe what had happened to the home she shared with Russell, even though the couple had only been away for two hours.

"We came back and went in the house. I went up to the stairs and I walked into my closet. I just lost it," Hawn said. "And they completely knocked down my door, which is a safe door, so they’re very, very sophisticated, and they got a lot of my goodies, if you know what I mean."

Okay, once was bad enough, but the odds that a second incident would happen struck Hawn as pretty low, so she tried to go on living her life.

"So, I’m thinking, ‘Oh, my God, so the chances are, I guess that’s it,'" Hawn said. "It’s gotta be. The odds are that’s not gonna happen again."

It only took a few months for Hawn to be proven wrong.

She said the next time was even scarier because she was home alone when she heard a noise upstairs.

"I hear this big thump upstairs — and I was alone; Kurt wasn’t there — and I went, ‘What the hell was that?'" she explained. "I couldn’t believe it. What is happening here?"

Hawn has said that she's had to hire a guard for almost constant protection as a result of the two scary incidents.

"I’ve had a guard, especially when I’m alone now," Hawn told Ripa. "I’m never without a guard. We have a nice relationship with our guard."

Let's hope it stays that way and that Goldie and Kurt stay safe!
