Country Singer Morgan Wallen Arrested in Nashville

It would appear that country singer Morgan Wallen had a bit of a meltdown at a Nashville bar recently.

Sunday night, it was reported that Wallen had tossed a chair off the rooftop bar at Chiefs Bar in the downtown area.

The venue only recently opened, and I am sure his fellow country singer Eric Church, who owns the establishment, did not appreciate the bad press.

Crazy Times

Chief’s Bar opened with much fanfare, with the news that Eric Church and some of the biggest names in the business would be performing at the local bar.

With all the money that Church has invested in the bar, you can imagine that this is not exactly the publicity that he wanted to see.

According to local reports, officers were standing in the street below the bar when a chair was suddenly flung off the rooftop bar area.

Thankfully, the chair missed everyone standing below, but officers immediately went to find out the culprit.

Surveillance video revealed the culprit to be none other than country singer Morgan Wallen.

Wallen was then arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Since the incident took place, some have even started to speculate Wallen did this on purpose to draw a bigger crowd to his venue when it opens later this summer. It was hard to argue that after seeing Wallen smiling away in his mugshot.

Ted Jenkin, president of Exit Stage Left Advisors, stated, "Morgan Wallen is a hugely popular artist right now and this recent arrest will actually have a positive impact, in my view, in terms of the loyal followers who want to come visit and patronize the grand opening.”

Wallen must be following Donald Trump’s example in that any press is good press as long as it helps you dominate the news cycle instead of your competitors.
